Editorial Committee for the TES journal

The Editorial Committee defines the editorial content and selects articles for the industry journal Tunnels et Espace Souterrains (TES). It is chaired by the journal’s Chief Editor, who schedules its meetings. The Chair of AFTES serves as Publication Director.

Role of the Editorial Committee

The Committee’s missions include overseeing the journal’s editorial content and development, while maintaining quality and integrating the latest scientific, technical and methodological advances. It discusses the themes covered by each issue, seeks contributions from industry stakeholders, assesses proposed articles, and finalises and reviews content.
Editorial Committee members promote the journal and relay its content in their respective networks. They represent all members of the Association and its multiple areas of activity, according to their knowledge of the various disciplines and/or their scientific and technical expertise.

The Editorial Committee is renewed for each new term of office, and its members are approved by the Executive Council. Members may be reappointed and the duration of tenure is not limited. The Chairs of the Technical Committee, the Underground Space Committee and the Plant, Equipment and Products Committee are ex officio members.
