Publication of the book “Handbook on Tunnels and Underground Works” Vol.1 and 2

The first two volumes provide a comprehensive, up-to-date, clear and practical approach to risk-based tunnel design and construction methods as follows:
- Volume 1 : Concept – Basic design principles
- Volume 2 : Construction – Methods, equipment, tools and materials.
- The third volume, scheduled for mid-2023, will describe more specifically examples of solutions applied in Italy or abroad to concrete cases and will expose best practices.
