SAEMES has embarked on the renovation of the Haussmann-Berri parking lot near the Jacquemart André museum in the 8th arrondissement (underneath Boulevard Haussmann).
Commissioned in 1967, this parking lot no longer meets current standards (disabled access, waterproofing, electrical installations, ventilation, fire protection, lighting and painting, signage) or new uses (electric vehicles, two-wheelers, etc.).
New functionalities will be added: electric charging points, parking for motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, etc. Parking lots will be widened to 2.30m to accommodate the increased width of new vehicles.
Five elevators will be in operation, one of which, connecting the surface to level -6) will be entirely built during the works from an armoured shaft.
The parking lot is monitored by 190 cameras. A dynamic guidance system and a license plate reader will facilitate access to the parking lot. Almost 500 parking spaces will be eliminated.
The cost of the work is estimated at 11 million euros excluding taxes. The end of the works is planned for the beginning of 2022.
