On December 11, the 60th meeting of the Intergovernmental Conference of the Lyon-Turin railway line was held at the headquarters of the Piedmont Region in Turin.

On December 12, the tender documents for the three base tunnel lots in France, worth a total of 2.3 billion euros, were sent to the pre-qualified companies, which have until mid-April to submit their bids.

Tunnel Euralpin Lyon Turin SAS (TELT SAS) has awarded the project management for the construction of the base tunnel on the Italian side to the Italferr SPA / Setec TPI / Pini Swiss Engineers SA consortium. The contract is worth €20.6 million.
The first two lots of the Italian section were published in early July.
