A new tunnel boring machine christened on the T2A!
10 February 2021Dieneba Diarra gave her first name to the third tunnel boring machine that will pierce the underground track of the future metro.
After Aby and Marina, the third TBM launched from Vitry-sur-Seine, between the Bel-air structure and the Vitry operating center, is named Diéneba, in honor of Ms. Diarra, a nurse from Vitry who saved a person from drowning last year.
The tunnel boring machine will dig the gallery over a length of 1.1 km. The work is being carried out by the Horizon T2A consortium (Bouygues TP/Soletanche-Bachy/Bessac).
