SMP4 rewarded at the ITA Tunnelling Awards

SMP4 Saint-Martin-la-Porte won 3rd place in the category “Projects of the Year from 50 to 500 Million Euros” for the excavation works on the exploratory tunnel of the new Lyon-Turin railway line in Saint-Martin-la-Porte.

The ITA Tunnelling Awards, organized by the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association, annually celebrate excellence in the field of tunnelling and underground space. The event took place on November 28 in Genoa, bringing together industry leaders.

The project was presented by Lorenzo Brino, Deputy Director of the Rail Division at TELT, during the conference preceding the awards ceremony.

It is worth noting that the project had already been selected as one of the “50 emblematic projects” chosen by the international association. These projects, carried out over the past 50 years, showcase the evolution, innovation, expertise, and excellence in the field of tunnelling and underground spaces.
