Technical Committee ‐ WG 6 ‐ Sprayed concrete
Working Group 6 is a joint group between AFTES and ASQUAPRO. It deals with sprayed concrete used underground, but also for other types of structures.
Theme: Design, prescription, implementation and testing of sprayed concretes.
Work in progress: GT6 is currently working on dry mix spraying. A recommendation on wet spraying was published at the end of 2023.
This group is open to anyone wishing to make an active contribution.
Requests for participation should be sent to AFTES.
Approximately 1 meeting per month is planned, with alternating face-to-face sessions (a full day) and videoconferences (1/2 day).
WG6 is led by Catherine Larive and co-lead by Christine Thuaud.
This WG 6 is concerned with the means, equipment and conditions of use of rock bolting and sprayed concrete excavation support. Publication pending: Recommendation for drafting specifications relating to wet-process sprayed concrete for support and lining in underground structures.
